Sew It Yourself: Little Pumpkin Baby Bib

One toothless grin meets another with this adorable and easy-to-make jack-o’-lantern baby bib perfect for any little pumpkin’s first Halloween! Start by creating the pumpkin with some orange fabric and embroidery floss, then add personality with fabric scraps adhered with Aleene’s ® Fabric Fusion®.

 

Skill Level: Intermediate

 

Time to Complete: 1.5 Hours

 

Materials Needed:
Aleene’s ® Fabric Fusion®

Instructions:
For best results, please read all instruction before beginning project. Refer to photo for color and design placement.

  1. Cut two 9-inch circles from orange fabric. Sew circles together, right sides facing, leaving 2″ opening to turn. Turn right side out, stitch closed and press flat.
  2. Center and adhere ribbon to back top of bib using Fabric Fusion®. Pin in place until set.
  3. Hand-stitch details of pumpkin with embroidery floss.
  4. Cut two leaves from green fabric. Sew together, right sides facing, leaving an opening to turn. Turn right side out, press flat and stitch closed. Repeat for second leaf.
  5. Adhere leaves to bib with Fabric Fusion®, pinning in place until set.
  6. Cut pumpkin face from black and white fabric.
  7. Adhere to bib with Fabric Fusion®, pinning in place until set.
