Materials:
- 1/3 yard main fabric (We like the Anna Griffin Frances and Beatrice collections)
- 1/3 yard backing fabric (flannel)
- 1 ¼ yard ric rac
- baby burper pattern
Directions:
- Trace the pattern onto tissue paper or pattern paper. Pin the pattern to the cotton and the flannel and cut along pattern edge.
- Baste the ric rac to the right side edge of the main burp cloth. Start and stop the ric rac in the center of the burp cloth.
- Pin the flannel burp cloth to the main burp cloth, right sides together. Match edges. Pin. Sew along the basting stitch, leaving a 3” opening on the straight edge of the burp cloth for turning.
- Turn right side out. Press. Top stitch around the burp cloth, catching the opening in the seam.
