DIY Holiday ‘Joy’ Button Frames

These holiday button “Joy” frames are sure to brighten your holiday mantle.

 

Skill: some experience needed

 

Materials:

 

Directions:

  1. Paint letters – off white color set aside and let dry.
  2. With your 3 frames – carefully remove glass and discard (you will not need these). Measure and cut your scrapbook paper to fit in frame – adhere paper with glue to mat. Set aside. Lightly brush on brown ink to age your frame. Add ribbon around edge of each frame.
  3. Adhere buttons to all three frames.
  4. Insert mat in to frame the backing (with scrapbook paper).
  5. Add foam adhesive stickers to the back on the letters to give dimension/height to each letter.
  6. Add ribbon, embellishment.
